Fizzy Iced Tea
Sam BodgerA refreshing, lightly sparkling pick-me-up made with black or fruit tea, brewed the night before and fizzed just before serving.
Ingredients
- 2 tea bags (black tea or fruit tea of your choice)
- 400 ml freshly boiled water
- 10 to 15 ml honey or sugar syrup (optional)
- Lemon slices or fresh berries, to garnish
- Ice, to serve
Method
- Steep the tea bags in the boiled water for 4 to 5 minutes, then remove them.
- Stir in the honey or sugar syrup while the tea is still warm, if using.
- Leave to cool, then chill in the fridge overnight.
- Pour into the Drinkmate bottle and carbonate to taste.
- Serve over ice with lemon slices for black tea, or fresh berries for fruit tea.
Why it needs the OmniFizz: sweetened tea foams far more than plain water when carbonated. The Fizz Infuser handles it with ease, so the whole drink is evenly fizzy from the first sip to the last.
