Warranties and Policies

Shipping Policy

All orders will ship within 2 business days. Once shipped, your order should arrive within 2 - 5 business days for the mainland UK.

Items shipped outside the UK and EU DO NOT include duty, tax, or other fees.

Orders placed within the UK

We are a UK based business, all our stock is held within the UK. Therefore, if you are ordering to a UK delivery address there will be no additional Duty or VAT to pay on delivery.

Order placed for delivery in the EU

If you are ordering to a delivery address in the EU you will be required to pay any import duties that may be required. These vary depending on the country of the shipping address and we are unable to give an amount in advance. The import duty will be charged to you by the courier at the point of delivery. If your order is below £135 you will pay VAT at the checkout. If your order is above £135 we will refund you the VAT and it will need to be paid to the courier when your package is delivered.

Drinkmate Countertop Warranty Information

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase for consumer use, and for one (1) year for commercial use During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover PET bottles and wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser or gift recipient with receipt. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase, is required to make a warranty claim. We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.

If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange, unless it is defective.

To be eligible for a return for refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all the documents included. Otherwise, a deduction plus 10% merchant restocking fee may be applied.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept returns of CO2 gas cylinders except on exchange of empties for full ones.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase or purchase number so we can track it from our system. Get started here*Orders placed on www.drinkmate.uk only. If you ordered from Amazon or another vendor, you will need to initiate a return through their system.*

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer before getting our approval.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
(i) Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. (ii) Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (iii) we will apply a restocking fee to items sold more than 30 days before at an average 10% of its purchase value.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We are only responsible to replace items if they are defective or damaged. 

For exchanges due to product defect, we cover the return shipping and related fees.

For exchanges other than for a product defect, you have to pay return shipment, plus a 10% restocking fee.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Returning a Product

To return a product that isn't defective, you should mail your product to: Mautby Workshop, Hall Road, Great Yarmouth  NR29 3JB UK. Contact us at: drinkmate-uk@idrinkproducts.com before shipping it back.

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item if the return is not due to a quality issue. We may help in generating a prepaid return label for you. All shipping costs and taxes are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
