Watermelon Mint Cooler
Sam BodgerA summery, fruit-forward cooler that leans on fresh watermelon rather than syrup for sweetness.
Ingredients
- 200 ml fresh watermelon juice, strained
- 15 ml fresh lime juice
- 10 ml honey or agave syrup
- A small handful of mint leaves, lightly bruised
- Mint sprig, to garnish
Method
- Stir the watermelon juice, lime juice and honey together until the honey dissolves.
- Add the bruised mint and chill for a few minutes to infuse.
- Strain into the Drinkmate bottle and carbonate.
- Pour over ice and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
Why it needs the OmniFizz: watermelon juice carries a little natural pulp and sugar, both of which foam more than water under pressure. The Fizz Infuser keeps the fizz clean instead of a face full of foam.
