Watermelon Mint Cooler

Sam Bodger

A summery, fruit-forward cooler that leans on fresh watermelon rather than syrup for sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 200 ml fresh watermelon juice, strained
  • 15 ml fresh lime juice
  • 10 ml honey or agave syrup
  • A small handful of mint leaves, lightly bruised
  • Mint sprig, to garnish

Method

  1. Stir the watermelon juice, lime juice and honey together until the honey dissolves.
  2. Add the bruised mint and chill for a few minutes to infuse.
  3. Strain into the Drinkmate bottle and carbonate.
  4. Pour over ice and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.

Why it needs the OmniFizz: watermelon juice carries a little natural pulp and sugar, both of which foam more than water under pressure. The Fizz Infuser keeps the fizz clean instead of a face full of foam.
